If you're not already a member of the Moleskine community, then the first thing you need to do is register, by simply providing some basic information about yourself.
After that, you'll be able to log in into your private area and start managing your seller information. There's a simple step-by-step guide to help you.
Artists and creative people who want to use Moleskine notebooks to express their creativity, and are interested in expanding that creativity from the inside of a Moleskine notebook to its cover.
Especially those of you that are already creating do-it-yourself projects with our notebooks and sharing your work online.
If you're a frequent user of Moleskine notebooks, there are several reasons why you may want to consider being one of the first artists to contribute to the Moleskine ArtMart:
- the chance to demonstrate and share your creativity around the Moleskine brand;
- the opportunity to link to your personal websites and drive traffic;
- the ability to set the US Dollar price of your customized Moleskine notebooks -
including shipping - at whatever level you like. You'll receive almost all
of that price for anything you sell on the platform.
Use any Moleskine notebook cover as your canvas to create a one-of-a-kind notebook. All we ask is that you avoid creations that are offensive or involve religious or political expression or illegal activities, to comply with current Moleskine brand policies. Once you have completed your creation, you just register with the Moleskine Artist Marketplace, answer a few questions, and upload the requested photos of your notebook. You can also share links to your own pages or even to a behind-the-scenes video of the making of your creation.
You can decorate, customize, draw, paint, illustrate, silk-screen, bedazzle, sew, embroider, carve, linocut or recycle in any creative way you like. As long as it's still usable inside and can be mailed to an interested customer somewhere in the world, anything goes.

You will receive payment of the full selling price from the purchaser. You will then be invoiced for 7.5% of the cost of the notebook (before delivery or taxes) to cover Moleskine's fee for the Artist Marketplace.
At this time we are only accepting payment between artists and buyers via PayPal within their terms of service.
We suggest the following formula:
Price of Moleskine notebook + materials purchased + value of artist’s time
and ideas + estimated shipping cost = suggested cost. Remember there is a 7.5%
fee allocated to the Moleskine Artist Marketplace via PayPal's split-payment
structure. In addition, you may want to include sales tax.
Shipping costs should be based on the country where the artist resides.
Here are links to estimate shipping costs for selected regions. Remember you can
sell or purchase from anywhere as long as there is agreement between the seller
and the purchaser.
As long as you are an individual, non-professional seller, you are not required to include sales tax.
You'll find your order history in your PayPal profile.
